Monitoring and Maintenance
Mahiti Infotech offers services required to assist in monitoring, supporting and sustaining large portals and web sites. Various open source tools like Nagois, Zabbix and Munin are used for monitoring the functions and the components within the portals. The standard hours of systems availability for monitoring sites are 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The objective is to assist portals to maintain 100% uptime to portal users. We also are registered Ubuntu service providers for south Asia.
As part of the monitoring and support activity Mahiti has a Operational Support team based in Bangalore, India (Asia). Mahiti is responsible for the following:-

Available for a specified 24 hour shift 7 days a week

Active monitoring the portals. This means that at any given time there is at least one person doing the following:

Observing the on-screen automated monitoring tools for system alerts.

Performing additional manual tests to verify the status of various system components.

Reporting all technical issues to the Manager as soon as they arise

Attending to technical issues as soon as they arise

Escalating technical issues that cannot be resolved to the Manager

Liaison with the Infrastructure Providers

Logging all issues in the ticketing system

Assisting the System Administrations Team with product releases

Performing site maintenance when directed by the Manager

Adding to and enhancing the suite of monitoring tools on an ongoing basis

Work together with the Manager and the System Administration Team to plan and implement enhancements to the system and its operations as directed / instructed by the Manager.
- We also provide end-to-end support for Ubuntu server and desktop software.
